CROCHET THE BASE

ROUND 13: (Change colour if desired)

2DC in each space in the netting around.

Join with slst.
THE STRAP
-
CH40 (not too tightly as you will be working back into it)
-
Join to middle of opposite side with DC.
-
Work back up the strap with 1DC in each CH.
-
At end DC into rim of bag.
-
Turn bag and slst into other side of the strap.
-
DC in every st back up the other side of the strap.
-
Connect to bag rim at end with DC, making sure strap is not twisted.
-
Turn bag and SLST into rim of bag one st along under the base of the strap, then find first stitch of strap and DC to secure.
-
CH1, cut cord, pull through loop. Weave in ends.
