Who Designs your yarns?

We do. All our yarns are exclusive to us.  We research and commission all our colours, and  yarn composition.  We try to cover  all budgets from acrylic, "have a go" Mammoth to the luxurious 100% unspun Merino.

How do I know how much yarn to buy?

You can contact us through the website. We aim to reply within a few hours, unless of course you are in another time zone and message us at midnight GMT. In this case we will reply in the morning, quite possibly when you are in bed.

Most of our yarns have an indication of the quantities required in the product listing. You may need to scroll down the page. If you do need to contact us please state the size of the piece you wish to produce and whether  you will crochet or knit.

How will my yarn arrive?

We aim to dispatch as soon as possible.  We use DPD next day delivery.  Our driver collects between 1pm and 2 pm. Orders received close to collection time, we will try our hardest to dispatch.  Orders dispatched on a Friday will not be delivered until Monday.  Please note that by providing a mobile telephone you will receive tracking information and a 1 hour delivery slot on the morning of delivery.    International orders generally take 2 to 7 days for delivery.

Will I receive one large ball of yarn?

In most cases we try to send one large ball of yarn so that you have as few joins as possible.  The wiggly and felted merino is delivered in approx 1 kg balls.

Do you have patterns?

In the near future we will be offering knit kits and patterns.  For simple items like blankets and scarves, we can advise on the amount of stitches required, this does depend on the size of needles used.  Due to the scale of the yarn we feel that fancy stitches are not required as the yarn generally speaks for itself. A basic knit and purl stitch is all that is required.

What size needles do I need?

The majority of our yarns will state in the product info the size of the needles.

Are the colours on the website accurate?

We try our best to represent the colours as accurately as possible. Computer and mobile devices may show these colours slightly differently. We recommend that if you need a perfect match you request a small sample through our contact form.

Why do international orders require a telephone number?

All the shippers we use request a telephone number and an email. This allows the couriers to get in touch if their is a problem with the delivery.
