SO WHAT ARE THE INNER BALES AND WHAT CAN THEY BE USED FOR?
We roll large balls of yarn from 13 kg bales, ranging from 1 kg to 8 kg in weight. Since these bales are compressed for shipping, as we approach the centre, the yarn may become crimped and difficult to roll. To avoid this, we stop rolling before reaching the centre.. Before continuing to roll, we assess the remaining amount and decide if we can complete a ball before the yarn becomes crimped. This process requires a skilled eye!
